Stepping Into the Fight: With Scott “The Visionary” Hohn on Punch Out MS

At Off The Bench London and Milkyway Apparel, everything we do is built around community, consistency, and stepping up when it matters most.

With Punch Out MS, that message becomes real.

We sat down with Scott “The Visionary” Hohn to talk about what this journey means, what he’s learned, and why this fight goes far beyond the ring.

Q: What does being part of Punch Out MS mean to you?

Scott:
It means being part of something bigger than myself.

It feels like a way of fighting for people who don’t have a choice — people who are battling this disease every single day. I’ve seen what MS can do, not just to individuals but to everyone around them.

For me, this is about community.

It’s about showing people who are struggling that we see them, we support them, and they’re not alone in this fight.

Q: What have you learned about yourself since starting Punch Out MS?

Scott:
I’ve learned that no matter how hard you think you’re working — you always have more in the tank.

There’s always another level.

And when you’ve got a community behind you pushing you, supporting you, expecting more from you… you find it.

That’s been one of the biggest takeaways for me — realizing just how much more you’re capable of when you don’t quit.

Q: What do you enjoy most about doing Off The Bench London?

Scott:
Honestly, it’s the conversations.

Life gets busy — you’re always moving from one thing to the next — and this forces you to slow down and actually connect.

Through Off The Bench London, I’ve had conversations with people I never would’ve met otherwise. And every single one teaches me something.

I love sports, but it’s become way bigger than that.

It’s like a weekly check-in — a space to talk about what’s happening in life, what we’ve experienced, what we’re thinking.

You don’t get that kind of time often.

And I’d honestly encourage more people to do it — whether it’s with a friend, family member, therapist, or even someone new.

Just sit down and talk.

Q: Where do you see Off The Bench London going in the future?

Scott:
It’s hard to say.

If you asked me when we started, I never would’ve imagined we’d be where we are now.

And that’s the exciting part.

I don’t know exactly where it’s going — but I know I want it to keep growing and keep making a positive impact on the people and the community we’re part of.

That’s the goal.

Q: What keeps you motivated to stick with Off The Bench London and Punch Out MS?

Scott:
The people — 100%.

We hold each other accountable, and we’ve built this into our routines. It’s not something we do when it’s convenient — it’s something we commit to.

It gives us purpose.

Anyone can go hard for a short period of time — whether that’s training or content — but consistency is what actually gets results.

That’s what we focus on.

Just keep moving forward.

Even a small step forward is still progress.

Q: If you could go back and talk to yourself a year ago, what would you tell yourself?

Scott:
Say yes.

Say yes to opportunities, experiences, and people.

You never really know what’s out there until you open yourself up to it.

And don’t be afraid to be bad at something new.

That’s how you grow. That’s how you learn.

If I could give that advice to anyone — it would be exactly that.

Just get Off The Bench and go do something positive for yourself or for the people around you.

More Than a Fight — It’s a Movement

Scott’s journey through Punch Out MS is a reminder that growth doesn’t happen in comfort — it happens when you challenge yourself, when you show up, and when you choose to be part of something bigger.
